Competition

The bulk of Koidra’s clients, according to Tran, is headquartered in developed countries such as the United States and Canada. However, when it comes to small-scale farming in underdeveloped countries like Vietnam, the company is hopeful that its digital solutions may be “democratized.”
Chinese internet behemoths such as Alibaba, Tencent, and Pinduoduo have made significant investments in smart agriculture in recent years. As a consequence of the Covid-19 outbreak, China intends to treble its “high-efficiency facility agricultural land” to over 300 hectares by 2025, resulting in a “high-tech greenhouse boom.”
